Before founding Return Technologies, I spent many years working in environmental services and recovery systems, including time at Veolia and later at Rubicon Technologies helping build one of the largest waste and recycling platforms. Through that experience, I saw how complex waste and material recovery streams can become and how difficult it is for organizations to maintain visibility and transparency once materials leave their facilities.
Yet one part of the supply chain remained particularly unclear: what happens to products that cannot be resold, refurbished, donated or liquidated?
For many companies, this final stage lacks transparency. Unsellable inventory often moves through fragmented downstream channels, making it difficult to know where products ultimately go, how they are processed, or whether they are responsibly recovered.
Return Technologies was created to bring clarity, visibility and accountability to that process.
Our mission is to help organizations end waste while maintaining full visibility into the disposition of unsellable inventory. From the moment products leave a facility to their final outcome, every action is documented, and every disposition verified.
Whenever possible, materials are recovered, recycled, or responsibly diverted from landfill. When destruction is required for compliance or brand protection, it is performed with complete chain-of-custody documentation.
Just as importantly, Return ensures that products designated for disposition do not re-enter the market. Our platform guarantees controlled recovery and processing that protects both environmental outcomes and brand integrity.
Beyond our core operations, we are committed to supporting the communities where we operate. Through the Return Foundation and initiatives like Trick or Trash™, we invest in environmental education, community engagement, and responsible materials stewardship.
Return Technologies exists to bring transparency, accountability, and sustainable recovery to one of the most overlooked stages of modern supply chains.
